Ally Perks

I just received a letter in the mail from Ally announcing the introduction of a new program called “Ally Perks” in conjunction with their Ally Bank Platinum Debit MasterCard.  It “gives you the opportunity to get money back from a variety of merchants on qualifying purchases.  If you qualify, the money back will be deposited into an eligible Ally Bank account within 24 hours after the qualifying purchase is made.”  There will be no cost to participate in the program and it begins June 18, 2011.

I am a big fan of Ally’s products and services.  Despite most other banks retracting their rewards programs and benefits or adding fees, it is definitely a breath of fresh air that someone is still pushing forward in the realm of online banking.
