Update: Ally Perks Launched
Last week I was informed by Ally that their new Ally Perks program would launch yesterday. I logged in last night and found that they indeed stuck to their deadline. Anyone with an Ally Interest Checking account. There are no receipts to mail in or points to track, and you can shop online or in-store. Money back from Ally Perks is automatically deposited back into your Ally account of choice within 24-48 hours. All you have to do is use your Ally Debit Card associated with your checking account. Offers include national retailers and merchants specific to your area. Here is an example of some of my offers:
- $5 back on $35 purchase at PetSmart
- $5 back on $25 purchase at Best Buy Online
- $1 back on $2 purchase at iTunes
- $1 back on $7 purchase at Subway
- $10 back on $100 at Ann Taylor
Ally gives you a good amount of control over your preferences. You can specify up to 5 zip codes, block certain merchants, and even decline participation in the program altogether. Like I mentioned, you can have your money back deposited into any Ally deposit account so you’re not just limited to checking. And you can set it up so Ally Perks will send email alerts when new offers are available.
Ally is proving to be one of the top online banks out there. With outstanding products and services, competitive rates, and excellent services, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
