e-Rewards Opinion Panel

I just received an email from Pizza Hut with an “exclusive invitation” to join the e-Rewards Opinion Panel. Supposedly I can take surveys and earn “e-Rewards Currency” which I can redeem for Pizza Hut savings and gift cards. Of course I signed up to see what all this “free savings” business is.
There appear to be a good number of program sponsors including American Airlines, Hertz, GameStop, and several other airlines and retailers. However I do not see Pizza Hut mentioned anywhere. Has anyone else received an invitation and joined? I’m not sure how new this is and really don’t know much about it. I will keep you informed as I learn more.

Hi. I’ve been a member of e-Rewards since August of 2009. e-Rewards is an online survey site that rewards its members with “currency” that can be redeemed for various items. Once you become a member, survey invitations will be sent to your email address. Companies seeking candidates to take their survey are very picky as to who qualifies to complete the survey and receive “currency”.
When you receive a survey invitation, the requesting company will first ask a series of questions to see if you are the type of person who fits their needs. The pre-qualifying questions may last anywhere between 2 to 10 minutes long. It’s important to answer the questions honestly even though you may run the risk of not being selected to take the full survey.
If you are selected, you will be allowed to continue taking the full survey. Once it’s completed, you will be credited the amount promised at the beginning of the survey. Sometimes it may take a few hours to post but usually you are credited instantly. If you do not qualify to take the full survey, you will be awarded a small amount of “currency” for your time. Receiving any amount, no matter how small, is great because it all adds up to bigger rewards.
The surveys can be quite time consuming so prepare to spend at least 25 minutes or more per survey. Some surveys last up to 45 min or more. The amount of time you are expected to spend on a survey determines how large the compensation will be. Lengthy surveys = larger currency amounts. Don’t wait to take the surveys. If possible, take part in the survey as soon as you receive it because the longer you wait to participate, the harder it is to qualify.
So far, I’ve been able to redeem my “currency” for a $50 Target gift card, $25 Macy card, Blockbuster movies, i-Tunes, and some other items. The gift cards arrive in the mail and they never expire.
The e-Rewards program may not be suitable for everyone due to the amount of time one must spend to take these surveys however I have enjoyed it. I work full-time so I’m not able to participate as often as I would like but I’m still able to check-in a few nights a week and on the weekends. This program is great for stay-at-home moms, college students, seniors, and anyone else willing to set aside some time to earn rewards. I hope this helps. Good luck!
